Work in progress. This site is being built in the open. No page on it has yet been reviewed by a clinician, every page says so, and nothing here is medical advice or a substitute for seeing someone about your knee. What that means

KneeSchool/About/Curriculum mapping

Mapped to the UK training pathway

For trainees and their supervisors

Each professional page carries a curriculum tag, so a trainee can filter by examination and stage and can cite what they have read in a training portfolio.

The mapping tables

Each professional page carries a curriculum tag, so a trainee can filter by examination and stage and can cite what they have read in a training portfolio.

These tables are a working framework. The ISCP trauma and orthopaedic curriculum and the JCIE examination regulations are the authoritative sources. Every mapping is checked against the current published version, including the critical conditions and index procedure appendices, before an alignment claim goes live.

KneeSchool covers the knee component of MRCS and FRCS preparation and is designed to sit alongside general resources. It is mapped to these curricula. It is not endorsed by any college, board or society.
